Course Details
This awareness course examines how extremist groups are exploiting gaming culture to radicalise individuals. Participants will learn how specific games and platforms are used to introduce extremist narratives, how gaming subcultures intersect with misogyny, and how extremists leverage gaming aesthetics in memes and propaganda. The course draws on current research into the links between gaming habits and radicalisation.
