This course explores the relationship between conspiracy theories and violent extremism. Participants will examine why conspiracy theories appeal to people, how individuals can come to hold multiple contradictory beliefs, and how they spread online. The course also covers how influencers use conspiracy theories to promote extremist narratives and provides practical guidance on facilitating critical thinking conversations.
